Twelve Khawarij Militants Killed in Tirah Valley During IBOs: ISPR
In recent intelligence-based operations (IBOs) conducted by Pakistani security forces in Tirah Valley, Khyber District, 12 militants from the group Fitna-Al-Khwarij were killed. These operations, which have been ongoing since August 20, 2024, are part of a broader effort to eliminate terrorist activities in the region. The specific operation on the night of August 28-29 targeted identified militant locations, resulting in an intense exchange of fire. In total, 37 militants have been killed, and 14 others seriously injured since the operations began. The military remains committed to continuing these IBOs until peace is fully restored in the area.
